Hi, my name is Kevin!

Why Software Engineering?

I chose a career in software engineering because it allows me to express my creativity in various ways. The rewarding feeling of seeing brilliant ideas come into fruition is what drives me to continuously dive deep into web development and engineering.

But you are probably wondering, how did I get into software engineering? The discovery began while working through my Statistical Data Science major where I learned that data preprocessing can be automated, so by extension I picked up programming. Then I learned about responsive design in mordern day web development, and decided to take the opportunity to hone in on my programming skills through fullstack projects. This led me to follow my passion in solving complex problems and building services far beyond what I had imagined when I first started college!

When I am not programming, I like to spend my time exercising, playing video games, spending time outdoors, or reading books (I strongly recommend Atlas Shrugged by Aynn Rand as a fun dive into a dystopian world).
